Tell us where your case is
Call (718) 484-7510, or use the form below. You get a free conversation with an attorney in your language: we speak English, Russian, Spanish and Uzbek in-house, and we bring in a live interpreter for anything else. We will tell you what stage your case is at, work out your deadlines, go down the list of relief, and give you an honest read. If we are not the right firm, we will say so.
Request a case review
Everything marked required is needed so we can reach you. Everything else helps us prepare.
Never put your A-number in a web form
Do not put it in ours, and do not put it in anyone else's. Your alien registration number is the key to your entire immigration file. Bring it to the phone call or the office instead. If you have already put it somewhere online, tell us and we will talk about it.
Faster than the form
If something is time-sensitive, do not wait for an email. Call (718) 484-7510. The line is answered around the clock, and a detained case, a hearing inside two weeks, or an appeal deadline inside a month should always be a phone call.
What the conversation covers
- We will tell you what stage you are at: just served, in court, detained, or after an order.
- We will work out every clock that is running: the hearing date, a filing deadline, the 30 days to appeal, the 90 days to reopen.
- We will go down the list of relief and tell you which items are open to you and which are closed, and why.
- We will ask about your criminal record, if any, because it changes the answer, and we will tell you what it changes.
- We will tell you whether you need a lawyer at all right now, and whether that lawyer should be us.
What it costs
The case review is free. If we take the matter, we quote a flat legal fee and confirm it in writing before we begin. Government filing fees, including the fees for applications, appeals and motions at the immigration court, are paid to the Department of Justice or to USCIS and are never part of our fee.
Languages
We speak English, Russian, Spanish and Uzbek in-house. We arrange live interpretation for other languages. Tell us in the form which language you want the conversation to happen in.
If you are worried about privacy
Some people in this situation have real reasons to be careful about what they put in writing. Call instead of writing. Use a phone number that is yours. We will follow your lead on how you want to be contacted, and we will not leave detailed messages unless you tell us it is safe to.
